Your condition is best treated in-person by a medical professional. If you have any symptoms of severe eye pain, eye(s) swollen shut, visual problems/changes, extreme light sensitivity, rash, swelling in neck glands, or fever greater than 102 degrees F then you should seek treatment from a health care provider as soon as possible. If you have a swollen bump on your eyelid, you may have a “stye” (aka hordeolum) or chalazion which should be examined by a healthcare provider at your convenience.
